i am installing a slant fin 30 steam boiler and was wondering the best place to put the make up water feed. Should it be above or below the normal water line?

Water feed
Always below the water line. I prefer to feed water into the wet return.0 -
Jstar is right
Most specs call for the feed to be piped into the return . I've been piping them into the boiler itself ( lowest tapping in the boiler ) with no problems at all too . I like to pipe it so the fill valve or auto feeder are close to the sight glass0
