Mold on ductless A/C and Heat Pump systems

We have been installing ductless heat pump systems for many years. Some systems seem to develop mold worse than others--can be very hard to eliminate completely. Any suggestions as to the best way to clean the fan blades? The coil is easy enough. I recently came across a UV light for this application; Have not used it yet, but seems to be one way to tackle the mold issue.
