hey everyone....my question is can you pump TOWARD a radiant heating 3 way mixing valve for example adding a radiant zone off a existing boiler.....boiler has 1 existing baseboard zone ....circulator is on supply pumping away from compression tank...can i add 2 zone valves on the supply one for baseboard loop and the other for the radiant zone ....after zone valve(radiant) into the hot port of mixing valve , cold port is tee'd from radiant return manifold.....and the mix port to radiant supply maniold......would this work ???or would it be better to use 2 separate circulators and have the mixing valve piped on the suction side of circulator?....thanks PAUL S

well you can.....
But you will not get much if any flow to that zone. You need to pull the water out of the mixed port of the typical mixing valve.0 -
A diagram
It would be good to see it, but if I understand you correct than yes you want two separate zones with two pumps. There are other cost saving ways to configure but you should put the circ after the mixing valve.Tom

If I zone with pumps should I use flowchecks?ASM Mechanical Company
