Old house heating

I'm offering on an old house in Georgia that had radiant heating. All the radiators have been removed, I would like to know the viability of the plumbing for the old radiant heating system, how does one make this determination? The house was built in the 1925.

You'd have to pressure-test the piping

as long as it will hold 50 PSI of pressure, you should be fine.

Was it a steam or hot-water system?
