Are you allowed to use copper piping for your fill and vent pipe in Shirley, town of Brookhaven, N.Y.?

    See it often in Shirley

    and Mastic . Nope , no copper for fill or vent piping to an oil tank though .

    Even though

    NFPA 31 doesn't allow it, Brookhaven Town does.
