Are you allowed to use copper piping for your fill and vent pipe in Shirley, town of Brookhaven, N.Y.?

and Mastic . Nope , no copper for fill or vent piping to an oil tank though .0 -
Even though
NFPA 31 doesn't allow it, Brookhaven Town does.0 -
I thought
the more restrictive code always wins ?0
