Bob Gagnon plumbing and heating

Is it OK re-use the existing copper finned recessed radiators when replacing a steam boiler? Is it only the near boiler piping that can't be piped in copper?
Thanks, Bob Gagnon

Copper fin
My limited experience with "copper fin" rads, is that the pipe running through is steel. If that is the case then there is now reason whatsoever to replace the rads0 -
It can be done
They are suppose to be okay. If the whole house is them then they work equal. If only one is used and the rest are cast iron it will not heat as long as the cast irons.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.
