Delco-Heat Steam Boiler

Trying to figure out the btu's and square footage of steam this boiler was rated for. It's a very old Delco-Heat Steam Boiler, Model No: DB-48. It was originally an oil boiler but had a gas conversion burner installed at some point. The house has 18 wall radiators and i just want to double check my measurement of the total EDR with what the original boiler was rated for. The wall radiators that are existing do not look like what i'm used to seeing and i believe that someone made custom covers for them to replace the existing so i can't really compare them to something similar online to be 100% positive i'm using the correct numbers when sizing up the replacement boiler. I searched this site and there was a pdf on boiler ratings including the Delco boiler but it only says DB-4 not DB-48. The DB-4 according to the pdf is rated for 505 Sq Ft of Steam which seems correct for the size of the house and radiation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Boiler
Are you sure it's DB-48 and not DB-4S? S for steam.0 -
Possible
The tag is old, it could have been and S, makes a lot of sense. Would that mean the boiler i looked up on this site was the correct boiler, with 505 Sq Ft of steam? Here is a picture of the boiler manual, it doesn't have any ratings but just to give you an idea of what it looks like. Thanks.0 -
Boiler
Sounds reasonable for a 4 section boiler. Have you figured out your required EDR yet? Can you post a picture of the radiators?0 -
Pictures
I took the panels off when i was there measuring them but only took pictures of the them with the panels on thinking i might be able to find something if i did a little bit of research. I'll attach those pictures but not sure if they'll help at all.0 -
Well
You're right...those pictures didn't help. They might be finned convectors, though. You can get a basic idea of the EDR by measuring the size of the enclosure, if possible.
Is this one or two pipe steam?0 -
Pictures
It's 1 Pipe Steam, it's not finned convectors, i'm almost positive. Each one is about 20" High with various widths. 1 enclosure is 36"w X 20" h X 5" D. What would you think i should use when calculating?0 -
Might be one of these:

These are in the site's Library under Radiators. It really does pay to wander off the Wall. All Steamed Up, Inc.
