diagnosis for a compressor that needs replacing is that it was mechanically broken up internally. compressor while still operational was vibrating excessively. the oil pressure switch had been disconnected.
question is, what lead to compressor failure.
if oil pressure switch had been connected could it have protected the compressor? would oil pressure switch being disconnected contribute to a compressor failure?
