Low water cutoff's

Why don't low water cutoff's also include a pressure side that would also need boiler pressure to continue working.?

    That would be

    a pressure switch which is usually a separate device.



    Personally, I don't like combination devices.
    8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

    Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab
