How do you support / anchor pex tubing in a sidewalk or loading dock tt has little or no rebar in it?

welded wire mesh
6" x 6" welded wire mesh0 -
No Rebar
Thanks, I was afraid that would be the answer. The loading dock is 4500 sq.ft.0 -
insulation?
Is there styrofoam? You could use pipe tracking or staple directly to. It would not be wise to have no reinforcement in the concrete though, especially inn a loading dock.0 -
Slab prep
Most of the time, the slab prep, rebar or WWM is the responsibility of the GC or mason. The radiant contractor installs the PEX piping to either the rebar or WWM or both.
I've never been responsible for the slab, concrete, insulation, supports or mesh and specifically exclude these items in contract. On thicker slabs, chairs (or "Mesh-Ups") are often used to hold the tubing or mesh to the middle of the slab for better radiant emissivity.0
