I have a customer who put tarpaper down on top of a plywood subfloor for a small radiant zone. There will be mud, mesh then tile.At what temp will the tarpaper put off an odor? the customer was advised to not use tarpaper ,but,so be it.Thanks!

Felt paper
Think of it on roofs gets pretty darn hot.
If your supply temps are not outrageous I would not think it would be an issue.
That being said its probably giving off a smell now but will be buried in mud.0
