Pigtail loop

I'm going to remove and clean the pigtail that my pressuretrol sits upon. When I reinstall it, should I put some water into the pigtail to isolate the pressuretrol from the steam in the boiler? If so, how much water should go into it?
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,
Chris

Yep
I would add some. I poured in a cup or so just to be sure it filled. Any extra will just spill over into the boiler.Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.
