Any recommendations for a good, inexpensive flow meter?

If you have inline guages, petes plugs or circut setters you can use a pump curve, Bell and Gosset makes system flow documents ( circut setter wheel )

One Inch-

180 degree temp, flow range 1 to10 gpm, - I want to be able to fine tune the flow thru a modcon boiler and simple system loop. I need to have a minimum flow of 3 gpm, and a maximum of 4 gpm- no room for guessing. I am not using primary/secondary piping.

How About a Caleffi 132 Series?

Sounds like this gut might do both?

Do what SWEI is saying.  You are going to have to have some sort of balancing or flow adjusting valve anyway.  Adjust it until you get the desired delta T.



Caleffi makes the FlowCal device that come in desired flow rates.  They probably have a model for 3.5 GPM.  It will do the work for you and keep the flow capped at the designed for rate.

They make them in different fitting sizes and types. (Sweat, threaded...)

Caleffi 132 or 127-

Is one more suited for my purposes than the other? I like the fact that the 132 has a gauge.

Do they work the same?
