Williamson aka Weil Mclain Base Cracked Base

Have you ever seen this type of crack on the boiler base?  One month old boiler.

Any ideas? 

Should I be concerned? Thank you in advance.

    looks like....

    it may have been dropped. Not a huge deal as it is well supported on the blocks. It will NOT cause a leak or anything. Is it a gas boiler?

    I have been religiously checking on it every week or so to ensure there are no leaks, and this is the first time seeing it.  I am wondering if there was a defect in the casting.  There are no leaks at the moment.
