Proper boiler cleaning
The manufacturer will have a proper way of cleaning a new boiler, also called skimming (do a search). Peerless boilers specify putting washing soda into the boiler, and simmering for a little while, then draining, and followed by skimming for several hours, several times.
The installer, if he followed instructions will have left .a skimming port and valve specifically for that purpose.--NBC0
