Only half house is heating

Greetings,

We just bought an older home , circa 1948, which has the original Dynatherm oil boiler. The boiler still works great....but it's only heating one side of the house (the side closest to the boiler.) It's a two story home. We traced every pipe line from radiator to boiler and the pipes are cold all the way back. Is there enough pressure? what should this be? Is there enough water? how do you fill the tank which is mounted above. Or is there something we overlooked?

Appreciate any help....thanks a million for reading!

    Pressure

I hold be 12 psi on the gauge.

What you have is a gravity tank. There should be a fill valve prv there may be a supply shut off valve that is closed open it to fill the system if it is below 12 psi.

There could be air in the lines which would require you to bleed the air from the lines. Via an air vent.

    Got some pics?
