My 70+ house has steam heat with normal fin type radiators, The person I purchased this house from put an extension on and installed 3 of the attached radiators. Although they work ok, I was just wondering if this was acceptable work. They look like they were made for hot water...Any advice???

cast baseboard
besides needing paint, you can't beat those. Previous owner made a good choice0 -
YUP
those r nice! i never installed them on steam only water, but seen them on steam pleanty. i call them cast iron baseboard. lucky duck. those go for big money. i acctually was doing a job that the whole house was getting gutted and those were getting smashed with a sledge hammer. i was in the basement capping off the gas line and seen the heating pipes shaking. so calmlly told them that i need those and i will dismantal them and take them off the job.
