Pigtail & vaporstat

I saw a union connected to the top of the pigtail just before the vaporstat, for ease of cleaning the pigtail I would assume. Good idea?

    Sounds good

    To me. I shake like a leaf when I pull them out of boilers to clean for fear of breaking them.
