TRV Zoning (Timers)

Hello, I have an older home that is heated with numerous hydronic cast-iron radiators (I've installed a modern mod-con boiler that keeps that water temperature lower). None of the radiators are zoned, and none have TRVs. Living with radiant heat has taught me that it is not easy to setback the temperature for sleeping and raise it during the day (we prefer to sleep at 67 degrees and typically keep the house at 71 degrees at all other times). I've experimented with implementing a setback at night to 67, but it can then take a while for the house to get back up to 71 the next day. I'm thinking that a better option might to put TRV on the bedroom radiators and simply apply a setback to the bedroom at night and keep the house at 71 at all times. Does anyone know of a system that could be programmed to automatically perform a TRV setback in the bedroom? It seems that this is pretty common in Europe - systems like the Danfoss Living Connect allow each radiator to have temperature schedules via TRVs that are controlled by a central computer. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Programmable TRVs
I know Heimeier makes a pretty neat one where you program the schedule on your computer and transfer it to the valve via a USB stick but doesn't look like it's available here so i'm not much help but look forward to others answers. http://www.heimeier.com/en/products-solutions/heimeier-thermostatic-control/thermostatic-heads-and-radiator-valves/electronic-radiator-controllers/e-pro/0 -
TRV setback
A just installed a sample of this Caleffi setback TRV. Backlit digital display, It allows multiple setbacks, overide, holiday mode, econ mode, frost mode, open window mode, party mode, and a limescale mode to cycle the valve every day if it has not operated. It's only available in Celsius right now, trying to see if there would be a market for a US version.
This is a simple, inexpensive non electric solution.Bob "hot rod" Rohr

looks nice
Would love to see those available here, though I have to admit that wireless would be even better.0 -
Nice
That looks really good, do you know if it will be available in Canada as-is? We don't require Fahrenheit.0 -
anyone ever use one of these?
I've been looking for the same thing....don't mind if it is in Celsius either. These look like they are readily available from Amazon in England and Germany and I believe you can get them shipped to the US.0 -
How about
A TRV topped with an inexpensive 24V operator and a heat only programmable thermostat?0 -
the point
That would work but it would lack the tidiness & simplicity that the programmable TRV's have.0 -
Programmable TRVs
Danfoss is offering the Eco Living for hot water systems in Canada and the US, although the scale is in degrees C it is programmable. .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgLX2eB8gVY0
