What is the general consensus on using these
I just started to use them they're very easy and convenient
I know there have been previous posts just can't seem to find them
Has anybody any experience with prolonged use, Any problems etc.
Thanks guys

Hopefully
Gerry Gill will respond as he is the one that got me hooked on them. The only thing I have seen mentioned and its not directly related to steamaster tablets is a higher PH can errode the gauge glass. Personally I'm not concerned as I'd rather replace a $1 peice of glass than my block and I keep my PH around 9. I'm going to order a few as well as a cutter with my next order from pexsupply.comSingle pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

Thanks Chris
I would also not be concerned About a Sight glass
But A well-known boiler manufacture do use gaskets between their sections, does the PH
Levell have an effect on these
Thanks0 -
gaskets
My boiler is a Weil-Mclain which has gaskets. As far as I know a high PH of even 11+ wouldn't bother the gaskets but that would cause foaming issues.Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.
