I have had a few people recently ask me what books they should have for hydronic training and reference . Fact is, when I think of it I could use them too because every time I begin to think I'm a pretty smart guy, something, well, comes up;) . So...If you were to suggest a reading and reference library of say 5 books, what would they be?

Click on "SHOP" on the upper left task bar, then "Hot Water Heating Books" and then choose any written by Dan Holohan.8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

I'd start with
Sigenthaler's Modern Hydronic Heating (3rd edition is current.)
Then one or two of Dan's books - probably Classic Hydronics if the inquirer is going to be doing any service work on existing systems.
The old B&G Handbook is a treasure trove of good basic info, and free http://www.heatinghelp.com/article-categories/123/Bell-Gossett-Handbook-Second-Edition-19490 -
Thanks Alan!
I've only been noodling around this site for I don't know how many years...;)0
