I did a heat loss calculation in a room where a customer has cast iron baseboard...they have amonoflow system and they want to put radiators instead of the baseboard....when I find the radiators I want then find how square feet of direct radiation they have how many BTUs do I multiply it by for got water....240BTUs per foot of direct radiation????

Another way?

Measure the cast iron baseboard. Look up the CI baseboard in the Internet and see what the EDR of the units are. The CI radiators are also rated in EDR. Pick the winner. Either way works.

Why do you want to remove the CI baseboards for radiators. Most wanted to do it the other way around.

Another company removed all radiation from the home...they have a diverter tee system....there are openings in the walls for radiators in the bedrooms bathroom and kitchen...and cast iron baseboard in the large dinning room/living room....I did a heat loss calculation and found radiators(sun rads) just needed the BTUs to multiply into the square feet of Edr..
