BSE Orifices from an old post #14329

A client of mine recently brought an article on Steam Supply Orifices to my attention, it was published back in 2003. It was Heating Help post # 14329 titled BSE Orifices. I found the article very interesting, however my knee jerk reaction is...how do you keep them from clogging. The author addresses the issue and swears that in 5 years, and over 1000 installations, he has not experinced any problems. Ten years later, as we begin this new year, I'm wondering if anybody out there has any experience, good or bad, with his concept?
