High Capacity Main Air Vent

I'm having issues with radiators not heating up and, I suspect the problem lies with the main air vents. There are two of them: Durst No. 4's with a 3/4" thread. One of them gets hot but, no air is being expelled. The other is completely cold. Can anyone recommend a good, high capacity main air vent? FYI, the cut-in on my boiler is 1 lb and the cut-out is 2.5 lbs. I recently replaced most of the radiator vents with Hoffman 1A's.

    Vents

Gorton2. It's the highest capacity, and highest quality main vent.

You should also lower your pressure to a cut in of 0.5 and cut out of 1.5

    How Long

are your steam mains, and what pipe size? This tells us how much air is in each main that we have to get rid of.

Gorton #2 is the biggest vent made today, but do you really need it?

    Main Line Specs

One line is 37' from the boiler, the other is 27'. The pipes are 2.5 inches in diameter.

    Definitely Gorton #2 territory

on the longer main. For the shorter one, I'd use two Gorton #1 vents. This should result in steam reaching the ends of both mains at about the same time.
