Video link - Is this sound from condensate or a metal object?

Options
This isn't my radiator, but mine is making the same sound.  The more I listen, the more I feel like there must be a metal object rattling around in there - can this really be steam/condensate?

    Noise

That definitely sounds metallic. Maybe your neighbors valve is broken.

    Bouncing Noise

It's really hard to tell where the noise is coming from, whether the radiator, the pipes under the radiator, or actually underneath the floor somewhere.  I've held both the pipes while the noise was going on and it didn't stop, so it doesn't seem that they are vibrating.  It's excruciating. Since my landlord is a tool (not the good kind) it looks like I'll actually be building a soundproof cabinet for the rad.  Anyone ever done THAT before?
