in Strictly Steam
I am about to install a few Mepco Steam Traps Model 40-515A and would like to know if they can be put in both the Horizontal and Vertical positions. Does this have any sort of impact on their performance?

    These are "Float & Thermostatic" traps

    and the floats won't work if they are installed improperly. The Inlet tappings must be at the top, with the Outlet tappings on the bottom.
