Hi, fellow steam heat enthusiasts.
Does any of you have a data regarding cfm of the most popular brands along with the numbers? Folks on the forum use Gortons, Hoffmans, Dales, Ventrites, etc. Majority of us are trying to get our systems to work as perfectly as possible using a trial and error method. Sometimes we are asking questions that has been already answered. Maybe it would be beneficial to have it all in one place? What do you think?

The Venting Book
Hi- This has already been done by a couple of Cleveland steam pros, Gerry Gill and Steve Pajek. Their booklet with cfm flow rates for many vents, both main and radiator, plus steam traps is available as a downloadable e- book in the Shop Section of this website. Here’s a link to it:

A very useful book to have. I constantly reference it.
