Condensate Pump Tank Vent Pipe

Is there a maximum length horizontally a condensate tank vent pipe can be extended? The current location of the condensate tank, which is really being used as a "transfer pump" (see Dan's Lost Art of Steam Heating pg 176), is sensitive to moisture according to the commercial tenant that occupies that area of the basement. There is excessive moisture right now because one of the F & T traps needs to be replaced.
Can the tank's vent pipe be extended horizontally, after it risers vertically, approximately 30 feet to the other end of their section of the basement.

Excessive moisture
Maybe things will dry up when the trap is replaced, as surely you don't want moisture in any part of the basement.--NBC0 -
