Unit (Garage) Heater

Can I take a 45,000 BTU unit heater and turn it on its side? I would be mounting on a stand about 12 inches of the ground. The access door would then be on the top instead of on the left side as normal.

I have not
ever seen that done before in over 16 years in the field, and I'm sure there is a reason for that. If you have the installation instructions, read them. If you don't have them, go on-line and find them, and then read them. Basically, RTFM ( read the freaking manual). Not the answer you were hoping to hear, I'm sure, but always the best starting point when attempting to do anything out of the norm. Just my thoughts on the matter.0 -

you would need to identify the heater before any input can be offered0 -
