Can I convert horizontal 1/8" NPT main vent taping to vertical 3/4" for main vent?

The taping on my one-pipe system where the main vent goes is only 1/8". Right now I have a Gorton D vent installed because that is the most aggressive angled vent i can find but I I feel like I need more main venting (radiators hiss). Is there a simple way for a non-DIYer like me to do convert this horizontal taping to vertical one so that I can put a larger vent like a Hoffman 75? Couplers? Adapters?

Thanks

    You won't gain much with a #75

how long is the main, and what pipe size?

    Pardon my ignorance

How do I measure main length? I see the riser and horizontal header and then 4 pipes branch off to each radiator in the house. The condensate returns via the same pipes then joins a dry return that goes back to the boiler via a loop. Where do I start and stop for main measurements? Do I measure each "branch" separately or is the combination considered the main?
