2 stage burner?

These pictures are from the Weil McLain LGB-6 boiler that services my church. We're hoping the boiler can be set up for two-stage firing. From an earlier thread (here: http://www.heatinghelp.com/forum-thread/143498/Zone-valves-on-steam) it first sounded like it did- then perhaps did not- have a two-stage burner. Evidently, they are standard on current LGB-6 and above, but this is a bit older (1994) and the pictures posted left room for doubt.
Here's some additional pictures. Boy, those "High Low" wires sure have me hoping that this is a two-stage burner. Can anyone confirm?
Thanks,
Patrick

Awesome!
That's a relief. We're hoping this will help with a zoned system where one of the zones is about 1/3 of the boiler's EDR- pressure builds really quickly and short cycles. I'd love to see them pull out the zone valves, but the two zones are two separate buildings. If running this boiler with two strages will help significantly it seems like making the best out of a lousy piping situation.
Thanks for the help, Mr. Gill.

2-stage test
You could pull off the redwire on the Hi terminal on the gas valve and see what effect it has. This would confirm that it will in fact give you two stages.
I forget what pressure you're running, but "normally" the set up would be to add an additional pressuretroll or vapor stat, depending on the pressure you're running. You would run the red wire up to the new control, and a new wire back down to the gas valve. It should bet set for a range that is lower than the cutout on the operating control. This way, as the pressure rises, most likely caused because of only one zone being open, the boiler will drop into low fire and stay there unitl the pressure drops low enough to go back to Hi fire, or call for heat is satisfied.Dave in Quad Cities, America
