Oversized Burnham boiler

Options
Hello,

I'm new to this forum but couldn't find the answer on FAQ's or earlier posts so I hoping one of you can help me. I have an 7yr oversized Burnham gas boiler . I'm trying to figure out a way to decrease the btu's without having to change out the whole boiler. I've allready added a FHW loop off the bottom which helps but someone suggested changing the jets to smaller ones ? Is this possible and if so any idea of the cost?

Thank you,

    More information

    What model is this boiler?

Does it have a power burner or atmospheric?

What's the total EDR of your radiation?

What problems are you experiencing other than short cycling?

    Oversized Burnham boiler

Thanks for the quick reply, but after more review on your site I've reliezed I have more problems than I can deal with.( I'm a carpenter not a heat guy). I've decided to take everyones advice and call in a pro. Can you recommend a a place to find good steam guy for the Boston area?

    Pros near Boston

You might want to check the "find a contractor" link and see who's near you. The only steam guy who comes to mind is Charlie Garrity, but he's out near Stockbridge. I'm sure he could recommend somebody near you.
