Wirsbo TruFlo Balancing

I am trying to balance Wirsbo Truflo manifolds. I have the Uponor website to determine the pressure drop(ft/hd) that the instructions tell you to refers to, but I can not log into it..

I have the Wirsbo Flow Master Junior. Can that tell me anything I need to know about balancing the system without determining the pressure drop?

I have several manifolds ranging from 3 to seven loops.

    known lenghs of tubing

I know the lengths of all the loops in the system.

One manifold has 5 loops. The lenghs are 189ft, 221ft,109ft,196ft and 204ft.

Would I try to get the same flow thu all 5 loops using the Flow Master Junior?

I'm not sure how to find a pressure drop(ft/hd), then use the balancing chart.

    Flowrate

In order to balance the truFlo manifold, you need to know what the flowrate is supposed to be in each loop. That all starts with the heat loss on a room-by-room basis.

Using the Uponor software lets say all loops are in the same room. The software will automatically calculate all loops to be the same length. We know thats almost impossible to install that way and loop lengths will vary. You can then go back to the software and and adjust the lengths to actual install and it will recalculate the flowrate needed in each loop.

    Enjoy
