steam traps and Thermal imagers

<span style="font-size:12pt">Has anyone used a thermal imager to check on steam traps that may be passing steam?   I would think they would work well on a thermostat trap but not work well on an F&T or Bucket trap as the saturated temp of the steam would be the same as the condensate temp. </span>
