Burning Plastic Smell PEX Hot water heat

Options
Recently installed baseboard hot water heat in my basement on separate zone from the rest of the house.  When I turn the basement zone on a few times a week, I always get a burning plastic smell once the water is flowing and the room is warming.  I used the special 3/4" PEX for hot water heating.  Smell does really bother me just concerned there may be safety issues?  Please let me know if anyone know if this is normal?

    Pex can be toxic

Really should find out exact source and phone pex manufacturer about issues

pex if it is burning for some reason can be toxic

this is not normal by any means, or at least anything we have experienced and we have been installing pex over 25 years

There was an error rendering this rich post.
