Enerjet ET-52CW burner tubes approx 1993

I have an Enerjet ET-52CW

C- Standing Pilot with Vent Damper

W- Water Boiler

My plumber tells me there are two of 4 burner tubes that have cracks and need to be replaced. For $5,000 he would replace the entire system. The system is working perfectly fine and has been completely cleaned of any black carbon. National Grid tested the CO at 11 ppm where the limit is 200ppm. There are no gas leaks.

With Enerjet of 45 Drexel Drive, Bay Shore NY, NY 11706 out of business. Is there any one that has these parts? I have sent e-mails to Blackman plumbing of Long Island purchasing dept. with no response. Could there be an alternate or substitute part that would work?

It is a stainless steel tube about 16" long and not even 2" in diameter. Should I have the plumber pull the part out and take it to a tinsmith to manufacture a new one. I am not a plumber but all it look like is a tube with two rows of slits in it about one inch apart.

I know it is 19 years old however, any suggestions, besides spending $5,000 for a new system, when the current one is working fine?

Best regards,

Roy Massa
