Hot water zone question

I need to add a hot water zone to my Weil-Mclain SGO-4 boiler to provide heat to the kitchen in my old house... Its a Honeydew

With the help from a friend who is a NYC savvy  HVAC  (STEAM) contractor I did the initial install with his help..

He is now contracted with FEMA  for the foreseeable to restore heat and hot water to those in great need.... My house and property were spared

And not wanting to bother my friend with questions while he is buried with work....

 I ask the collective (some preamble LOL)

I was planning to take the water for the hot water zone from the supplied tapping  "U1"  and return the water and plumb the by-pass from the boiler drain...

Looking more closely I'm not sure this can be done with future maintenance in mind.... All the fittings would prevent the  boiler door from swing completely open.

So after all the long winded intro

Can I?

Have the supply, by-pass, and return plumbed from three separate tappings

Supply = U1

Return=  "H" or boiler drain

By-pass feed = "B1"

TIA
