We are replacing a lot of boilers with indirects after the equipment has been flooded

My question is what are the effects on gas pipe, Gas meters, flue pipe, copper, metal studs etc.

Most of us in New York have never seen anything like this before, Thanks in advance

    Other flood damage

The gas supply company must check and replace any meters, and any trace amounts of water must be removed from the gas lines.  I'm not familiar with NYC codes, but that is what you need to follow.  ANY water can cause a new gas valve to malfunction, so be certain that the gas company has done their job, and any pipe you install is completely dry.  Salt water destroys anything electrical, and corrodes metal. Galvanized flue pipe that has been exposed to salt water is likely to corrode and potentially allow CARBON MONOXIDE to escape. Replace it.  Follow the manufacturer's recommendations concerning stainless steel flue pipe.
