Hey ,
So we've finally got our power back here in nj, and I thank god we're alive. But now the heat went out!
I dont know much about furnaces, or heating for that matter so if you do respond please as simple as possible please. And thank you for any input in advance
Heres a video of whats going wrong with the furnace.

So its clicking, flame comes on, and then goes out. It clicks for a few minutes and then repeat. it was minimally working for a day or so, but now its completely shot. Nothing no clicking NADA.
Can someone please make some recommendations and advice we'd appreciate it greatly! Thanks again in advance Thank you!</a>

Heat
Did you get flooded? That may not be safe for you to work on.
Where in NJ are you? I'm available to help. And your insurance or FEMA may cover the cost.0 -
Wow
That thing looked shot before the flood. If anything got wet, such as a spark module or gas valve, the furnace should not be used before those components are replaced. It just isn't safe. For your family's safety, you should not try to get it working until a pro looks at it. If a Heating Help member is able to assist, you are in great shape.0 -
hey
Hey guys thanks for the help. Yea its a pretty old beat up furnace and no the furnace was not flooded. But it is working intermittently.
What parts do I need, what do you guys think it could be? Any help would be appreciated.
We are in Monmouth County, and if I need parts would you guys know of any places to find them or where online I could purchase them? Thanks again hope to hear from someone asap.
Thanks again0 -
