I have a gas boiler that runs some baseboard heat and a heating coil that is inside a airhandler that runs forced hot air for most of my home. i have a seperate hot water heater for my domestic hot water. I am concerned about pipes freezing in the witer if i lose power and my circulators wont keep hot water running through my baseboards. Some of my pipes go through unheated areas. can i have a heating contractor put antifreeze into the system? i've heard about it being done with baseboard systems but i am more concerned because i have that heating coil inside the airhandler for my forced hot air. any thoughts??????
