I accidently broke my radiator vent hole by over screwing a 1/4 brushing in order to screw a 1/8 air vent. Is this radiator still salvagedable or should I start looking for a new replacement radiator?

it looks as though you have a few threads on the broken side of the hole, so try using some tape and dope to hold a bushing in. then you will be able to screw in a new vent [righty-tighty, lefty-loosey].
your system should ideally be holding a few ounces of pressure, if properly maintained, so it should hold.--nbc0
