have a "Unit Heater" hanging from the ceiling in a residentilal pool area that needs replaced. he is going to salt water but what should we replave it with? i was thinking this morning about a couple of ductless split jujutsi heat pumps? what do you all think? the enclosure is all plexy glass and about 80 X 40 ft wide. in balmy iowa.(0 degree design temp) the water is heated but he just installed a pool cover. he is a general contractor so dollars are not as tight as a small mom + pop shop.

Dectron Pool Equipment.
If the structure is worth saving and preserving, go with Dectron pool Equipment. I noticed you want from hanging heater to HP. The only concern is your heat rejection to dehumidify. Dectron uses a condenser coil inside to keep the heat in for de hunidify, and outside condenser for cooling if necessary. The pool cover matters little because the equipment is designed for normal use on any given day.
WOW... I just wish people that post here can somehow respond back to our comments. I for one take some time to answer the question itself and when the original author of the question does not either respond or give feed back, it kind of make me decline to offer ANY assistance if fear that it was all wasted time. Hopefully Dan H. can encourage some kind of policy to urge people to stay with their Q? so all can see it and let opinions run free.
