Teledyne Laars 100k BTU gas boiler CO alarm

This is an older gas pilot light boiler. I just started it up for the season and noticed that the CO detector alarms after the unit reaches the set temperature on the thermostat.
The flue appears clear. Once I open the basement door (outside door) and the alarm clears, the unit will start and run normally again until it reaches the thermostat set temp, shuts down normally again but sounds the alarm only after shut down.
Where should I start to troubleshoot? Thanks for your help.

A good cleaning....
That boiler can plug up. Call someone asap..0 -
KCOPP has it...
Yea the boiler can plug up, but alarm should happen at random points. It may just be a coincidence, but have the space checked for CO and then a complete combustion test performed. This is of your highest priority, someone can be hurt or killed. CO related injuries and deaths occur in the US with alarming numbers. Don't think it can't happen to you...
