Taco air scoop

in THE MAIN WALL
I am currently working on an air scoop which has 2 tappings on top.One goes to the traditional steel air to water expansion tank & the one next to it goes to an automatic air vent.Isnt the air vent located on top the wrong application?

    Yep.

    The air needs to be returned to the compression tank or it'll get waterlogged eventually.
