Installed a Burnham Alpine HW High Eff. boiler about 2 years ago, first year blower failed, and replaced it, now it has failed again, was wondering if anyone was having this same problem, and what could be causing it?, the only thing i can think is the basement is very damp, could this be a issue?.
Thanks for any help

sounds like....
it's sucking in exhaust gas. Not sure about the Alpine but I think its a Giannoni heat exchanger. I've seen other models that are vented with a concentric vent and on low fire it will draw in exhaust gases. If it is concentric you can extend the exhaust a little bit or go to a 2 pipe arrangement if possible.0
