is the valve on the rad actually considered a trap? First run in with one of these

The original Moline valves are orificed to limit the amount of steam that enters the radiator at 8 ounces of pressure to about 80% of the condensing capcity of the radiator. Since all the steam is condensed in the radiator, no trap is needed. Just keep the pressure below 8 ounces and you'll no problems and incredibly low fule bills and exceptionally even heating.The Steam Whisperer (Formerly Boilerpro)
