Looking for the BTU rating for older Carrier Weathermaster cabinet unit heaters. These have model numbers if 36E3 through 36E10. They are in an older building and are looking at replacing the boiler. They run low pressure steam to the heaters (12 psi) and it is a three story building. Thanks.

Steam Pressure:
Why 12# steam?
On a low pressure steam application, code regulations of maximum 15# steam pressure, 12# would be considered "high prressure". It makes the steam hotter when trying to solve some other problem. And it doesn't usually solve the problem.
12# steam can be nasty when you don't need it.
Or so I have learned.0
