Something we don't see discussed often.

How do you test the ph levels of the water/glycol in your system? (Or do you not...?!)

Please post the method & supplies.

Thanks in advance.

    Make/model

I figured that's better than the strips from the pool supply.

What make and model do you have, & are you happy with yours?

    Refractometers:

I use this one. I've used it for years. Very good service on them if and when they go bad from being dropped and the prisms get out of alignment.

    PH

Thanks icesalor for the reply. I have a refractometer that works great, and now looking to add a ph tester to tool bag for in depth hydronic system checkups.

    PH Testing:

I have one in my bag. I'll get it out when I get home and tell you what kind it is. It is a common one. You need to keep a bottle of measured solution on hand. There's a name for it. I can't remember at this moment. Regent of something. It is a solution with a measured PH level and you can check the calibration with it. I got mine from my wholesaler and it is a nice one. I'm very happy with it. I don't get to use it all that much because most of the others around don't need to use them.
