Open System in Seattle Townhome

I was called in to inspect a 7 year old townhome in the Fremont section of Seattle for a prospective buyer. The open system used a power-vented water heater and 5 fan wall convectors. The piping to the units was Kitec PAP. The buyer rescinded his offer after the seller refused to negotiate the price. Note the severe corrosion on the boiler drain fitting on the manifold.
