Hoffman #7&8 Equivalents?

Still doing some major head-scratching on a new steam install for my house, the Hoffman Controlled Heat or Webster Modulating 2 piper looks great. Just wondering what the modern day Hoffman #7 valve and #8 Trap would look like? Trying to keep the look retro as possible, are these valves impossible to find? Are part available for them? BTW are the traps necessary if the inlet pressures are dialed down low? Any insight would be great! Thanks!

If you installed orifice plates in the supply valves, you could meter exactly the amount of steam needed for each radiator, and would not need traps.
Do you have pictures of the traps and valves that you like the look of?0
